Pin Art - Thesis Work

This was part of my thesis project back in college, but I loved this project and thought I'd post it here too. I used Dritz sewing pins to create the Letter "K" in the alphabet, inspired by Jessica Hische's "K" Drop Cap letterform. My thesis focused on creating art using everyday objects. I can't recall how many pins I had to buy in order to create this but it was a LOT. After many hours and bruised fingertips, this was the outcome :)
