Medical Cannabis Menu

While this is an older design that has since been replaced, it is important to look back on where we have been, especially if we are proud of the work that we did. This project was commissioned by the owner of Grow Room for his other business, a medical wholesale store in Saco, Maine.

Behind the Design:

After already proving my ability to do thorough research (after all, I do have two degrees and a third one on the way. Research is in my blood. I can't escape it), the owner of Grow Room approached me with a daunting but exiting challenge: he wanted a menu to list the strains available at his other business, with specific information for each strain.

He sent me the following requirements:

-Strain Name

-Breeder

-Lineage

-Terpenes

-Effects

Beyond that, I was given free rein. I chose to break the last section into two parts--general effects, such as the body and mind feel, and medical effects, i.e the conditions that the strain is said to help the most. My approach to this project in general was to consider that this was for a medical wholesale business, meaning customers were buying in bulk and selling to medical cardholders looking for relief from any number of ailments. I wanted to make it as easy as possible for buyers to find the right strains for the right issues.

Fun Fact! Certain words tend to be used in the names of certain types of weed. For instance, if a strain has "Haze" in the name, there's a good chance it might be a Sativa, or Sativa-leaning, whereas "Kush" tends to indicate more of an indica.
