Haimali | Brand identity
Brand identity for the fiber art studio based in Berlin.
The creator behind this brand is mainly inspired by oriental culture and folk art. Every story she tells through her designs show her love for traditional fairytales and her fascination with anything that has elements of magic. That is why she chose the name haimali - it means amulet. The central idea behind this design is the shape of the paisley, a shape that's very oftenly used in Islamic and oriental art designs, especially in its patterns. The logo is created by stencil letters with many curves that refer to these paisley shapes. The small heart, which is also a micro-sign used in different packaging stickers or as a favicon for the website, is made of 2 paisleys to highlight her love for all things handmade.
