Matchbox Disney Series No 12

or, Mickey's taking a ride...

As some of you might have noticed I still enjoy to play with my Matchbox - which my brother and I used to call "Mätscher" - and from time to time I also enjoy drawing them. So yesterday I had the urge to make this rule of thumb illustration of another Matchbox I call my own. It's from 1980 and part of a Disney Series that was on the market back then. I think i got this car from my dad, but I'm not sure.

I'm not really a fan of Disney, but I always loved this toy and so i wanted to give this illustration a try. This shot shows two different color versions as well as a "plain" style illustration that's based on my personal branding.

And - Attached you can find a picture of my reference, which shows it's "children-funtime-patina" with proud - basically you can see how much I have played with it back then.

My brother owned the car with Goofy, but somehow we managed it to remove the figure out of the car, so that it is empty... hmpf.
