Human Collective
Human Collective is based on these profoundly weird times we’ve all experienced over the last few years. Living through a pandemic has been a unique situation which has connected us all in new and interesting ways. This collaboration has been a way to celebrate all of us coming back together.
There’s been so much growth and hardship and challenges. Every conversation these days starts with a loaded question about those experiences. These conversations turned into an exploration of who we grew into and what we learned from being in isolation. This project celebrates each of the models as individuals, and then takes that idea a little bit deeper.
The interviews include discussions of joy as well as struggles during isolation. We talked about the relationship with their hair and how it’s reflective of their identity. We also discussed what we are hopeful about moving forward. Everyone’s responses were honest and beautiful.
