XPay - Mobile Payment App Redesign
XPAY is a mobile app that allows small business owners to accept online payments through KNET and credit cards. It offers features such as payment links and QR codes, invoicing, multiple payment options, and reports and analytics. It is available on both iOS and Android devices.
The goal of redesigning the app was to improve the user experience and make it more appealing. By simplifying the user flows and modernizing the look and feel of the user interface, we aim to make the app more intuitive and easy to use.
The time it takes to generate a payment link was the most critical pain point. We designed a guided experience for users to quickly create payment links, while keeping the flexibility of letting users change the information at any step whenever they want, without limiting their actions. By creating a payment link, users can share it with their customers and allow them to make payments easily and securely. Payment links can be a convenient way for users to accept payments without having to manually enter payment information for each transaction.
Sorting and filtering options help users quickly locate the information they need and make it easier to use the app.
Widgets and charts were used to improve data visualization to display statistical information, such as balances, and transactions. Visual prompts convey important information to users and guide them through the app.
Standardizing the design and development process by introducing a proper style guide & component system also helped to ensure that the app is consistent and reliable for users. These efforts can help to increase satisfaction and adoption of the app.
