Product Detail Page

Our product detail page was different than most. We had to communicate the rental price vs the purchase price and visualize what it would cost to hold an item for less than 30 days. We'd also let them know how much it'd cost to purchase an item based on how long they'd had it out.

We did this a few different ways. We added a scroll bar that members could use to tell how many days they intended to have an item out and what the daily rate was. Secondly, we calculated the total rental charge with taxes and shipping at checkout. Lastly, if you sent back an item before your intended return date, we'd only charge you for the days it was out.
