The King In Yellow Cover Design

An early and striking example of modern horror, The King in Yellow is an exploration of insanity, paranoia, and unreliable narrators. Based around a discussed but never revealed play of the same title, the ephemeral work drives the characters to inhumanity. Fun!

Utilizing the amazing photography of Каюк Роман, I wanted to convey a sense of obscured truth, of depth the reader will never see. The negative space of, well, space conveys the void the characters are consumed by once they inhabit this world.

Thanks for checking it out!
