🏨 Logo design for a 175-year-old New Jersey home serving as an incubator for the wanderers & creatives of the land.

TOLA NOLA (The Other LA) aims to be an intimate space for artists that fosters deep connections and fruitful opportunities. 

🌴 The client envisioned a classic logo that has a strong heritage element and features a palm tree - the symbol of peace and victory.

I created a hand-drawn combination mark that conveys old-world charm and casual luxury. 

To enhance the feel even further, we stuck with a black&white color palette and picked a display font that’s a contemporary rendition of medieval-style typography 🕯️
