Early this year, I got an opportunity to design a logo and complete branding for Natural Gas California, a venture of Dash Energy focused on residential supply of natural gas. It was during my tenure as a senior product designer at Dash.

As I started my career as a graphic designer, I always loved to work on branding. As it was a downtime with product design works, I got a complete sprint to work on branding.

I approached this task as the way I used to do when I was working as a graphic designer. Started with questionnaire and then made mood boards based on the insights received from candidates and then refined output with a couple of iterations from different versions of the logo mark.
