Is the glass half empty or half full? The glass is half anxious
People with ADHD use anxiety as one of the malicious tricks to get things done. Anxiety can be motivating. It's unhealthy and energy draining tho. I started my therapy coz I was tired of feeling/being anxious all the time. Even when nothing happened, just like it was my default mode. I would be anxious 5 min after getting up.
What would you say: I am anxious, or I am feeling anxiety? Do you think there is any difference?
My therapist suggested using the first one. It gives the sense of control. It's me. I can chose between to be or not to be. There is nothing external that creates the feeling. Do you get what I mean?
