This cover is an exercise in simplicity - a sparse, haunting, and beautiful book, I wanted to create a cover that did it justice. North of Ithaka is the true story of a woman reclaiming the house her grandmother defended with her life - in a sparse and isolated Greek mountain town. Jean Louis Forain perfectly captured in this sketch the oppression and desolation Gage writes about - and yet there is humor and defiance as she rebuilds her ancestral home.Thanks for checking it out!#bookcover #bookcoverdesign
