Tibbs Forge logo animation

I've been working on animating my logo to use as a YouTube masthead on my channel. It's a bit rough around the 'pour' area because the original logo didn't have straight sides, but the main animation is blocked out. Any tips or suggestions for me while I work out the final kinks?
