V for Typefight

I was given "V" to design for my live Typefight against the talented @Eric Friedensohn this weekend at Creative South. You make quick decisions in that hour that you just have to live with:

I was somewhat happy with how mine turned out but felt I spent too much time on the texture / color instead of finessing the letterform. 15 minutes after the fight with a clear head, I thought about doing something more like the above (minimal changes).
