Ampersand study

I'm getting away from the computer and experimenting with different techniques. Started with a few sketches on paper with calligraphy pens then elaborated and refined it and finally took it to the canvas and worked up the shape with acrylic.
Still a work in progress, but it's very refreshing to do something new!
