Mitzvah Calendar Home Page
When I was first asked to redesign Mikvah Calendar, I honestly had no clue what a Mikvah was. But as I researched it, I learned it's more than what it appears. It's a time of spiritual connection with a God and a chance at a new start. The more I learned, the more connected I felt with the project.
Problem:
Mikvah Calendar is a tracking app with rave reviews, but severely outdated. They wanted a clean, modern feel, complete with icons and clever calls to action - no hard-hitting sales pitches here. They wanted to update the brand along with the website, but only just.
Solution:
The client wanted to keep their color palette of pink and purple which I stuck to, but added mint green to offset their harsh nature. I updated their logo to a fun little font combo and proceeded to clean up copy where need be. During my research, I discovered a number of videos featuring Mikvah Calendar, including some by the Huffington Post. I incorporated a section to their site where they could show off a little.
This is a live design and any updates will be added as they become available.
