What is the partner orcas app?

Orcas is a platform that connects tutors with students that need help throughout their school careers and studies by providing paid tutoring sessions.

The partner app is the app that tutor can schedule their sessions and redeem their earnings from the sessions they provided.

Problem

1.

The onboarding process is scattered through several apps and documents, which doesn’t help with the recruitment process, and tutors might lose track and interest eventually.

2.

It was noticed that the majority of the users ( the tutors) that are using the app are non-tech-savvy, they find it difficult to navigate through the app in addition to not following our rules and policies even after having to sign a contract.

Objective

Replace external forms and contracts and Generate the onboarding process through the application for all tutors.

Automate the process through the app to make it easier to track and review applying tutors, having a safe way to make sure that the tutor knows our policies and terms and conditions.

Have an automated process that will improve the recruitment department’s performance.

User experience design:

This experience was designed to handhold the tutor through the process since it was shown by data that most of the users are nontech-savvy.

1. With this in mind we created a welcoming assistant (Nesma)/bot.

Nesma introduces the process in a monolog and gives the user the control to move forward with the process at their own pace.

2. Providing a second way to help/handhold users through the process is the 􀁜 help Icon on every screen the user sees.

3. Road maps screens to give the user a better idea about the process and what is expected.
