Hero animation concepts for a personal portfolio using Spline.

Making your work stand out is one of the core concepts of being a good designer. In the quest of creating a compelling hero for my Webflow portfolio, I explored different tools to make that goal achievable.

Spline came in handy as an easy-to-learn software for 3D beginners. I learned the basics of the platform and created this 3D mouse interaction to embed in my hero.

Having a cool-looking hero doesn't serve much of a purpose besides being engaging to a site visitor. I needed to add meaningful content to drive the user toward my site's goals.

I created a second interaction that would happen on scroll. A proper hero section with media and text would appear as the user scrolls down to reveal the context of my portfolio.
