The brand that makes paying bills more fun.

Otto is a budgeting/bill-splitting app that reinvents the way bills and subscriptions are managed turning it into something empowering and playful. They wanted their brand to illustrate just that.

The brand team gave us a blank canvas to redesign the concept of bills and develop brand assets that convey the Otto mantra - pay bills on your own terms, not theirs. In the absence of a brand book, our creatives were able to explore and develop a fresh concept.

We opted for a visual language that reimagines paying bills as something fun and gratifying, making bill payments less stressful and more appealing.

From color palettes, app icons and interfaces, social media posts to super cool merch, we created a visual identity that resonates with the billpayers Otto will be targeting.

Now, enter the world of Otto.

Working hand in hand with the Otto team, we were able to translate their mission into a strong and compelling brand. Otto’s new brand now portrays the modern and personalized autopay experience they offer, built around the customer, not the biller.
