Walkies - Dog Walking App Case Study

Walkies is a dog-walking app that seeks to center the dog as the main focus of the design, creating trust with the users by concentrating on the needs and well-being of their pet.

To address the overall goal of simplicity, the userflow was designed to onboard the user as quick as possible through the utilization of skips, while also allowing the user to complete their profile during the process should they desire to.

Upon completion of the userflow, wireframing began - and the nebulous ideas and concepts began to solidify.

Particularly crucial to the design of Walkies were the signifiers of trust. It is my experience that a consistent color scheme, along with simple, recognizable branding, can evoke feelings of reassurance in a user.

The Walkies prototype was tested with individuals from the research interview as well as with others who would require heightened accessibility standards to ensure that Walkies could comply.
