Origami starfighter

Logo for an independent video game music composer. (Here is the rest of the brand style guide.)

His musical style is influenced by both classic video games and his classical/ orchestral composition training. So we wanted something that invokes both cool gaming factor but also the idea of craft - both "craft carefully honed", but also "something lovingly crafted". Learning more about him, I discovered he likes birds, retro scrolling shooters, outer space, and that he does origami in his spare time. So all of these came together into this "origami starfighter" concept.
