Audio engineer logo

First shot since 2011... project for an audio engineer friend of mine. I noticed that a lot of old microphone companies like Neumann and Telefunken made heavy use of diamond shapes for the metal logo badges on their microphones, and I wanted to do something that was a play on that. I thought it'd be really neat to make a logo that you could easily imagine being made into a piece of metal attached to the side of a microphone. I was also looking at a bunch of transistor diagrams to see if any other symbols from the field leapt out at me, and I kept seeing these straight lines that would have a jagged section, as well as lines starting with a ball end and/or ending with a triangle or some other shape. I decided to pull from that with the divider line in order to bring in another element from the trade.
