Spot - Product Design

Meet Spot, a social application which intends to create a functional, informative and a minimal design experience that will help connect people looking for a new pet with the right companion for them.

Purpose of the project

The goal is to reduce the number of animals abandoned and to be adopted, by building a cluster of Spot homes to make the process of animal rescuing and adoption facilities more reachable. Spot provides an online platform to find the right match between potential adopter and a pet. It is an easy & simple tool for adopting pets, as it is designed in such a manner to show all the available pet shelters in an area.

Design process

Case study - Multiple brainstorming & and research works were organized so as to cover the whole spectrum of perspectives necessary to develop a fully fledged strategy.

Wire framing - A good deal of time was spent for preparing wire-frames so as to make a straightforward and a simple-to-use experience design from a user level perspective.

Moodboard - Researched & compiled different colour palettes to fix a theme colour for the app. The color family was carefully curated to make the app stand out being one in a kind.

User Interface - Interface was designed keeping in mind that, it reinforces consistency & helps users accomplish their tasks in the most seamless way possible.
