Voice Command
This CUI was designed as part of the 14 days daily conversation design challenge organized by Ryan, Hillary, & the UXWC team.
Day 10: Start Command
The goal of this challenge is to write a dialogue between a voice assistant and the user, where the user initiates the robot to vacuum the room.
Thought process:
The user addresses the speaker by its name to activate it. This is followed by the main action, or command, that the user wants to accomplish. The speaker replies with an acknowledgment token, an implicit confirmation, and a countdown to achieve the main action. The countdown not only sets up an expectation for when the job will take place, but it also allows the user to cancel the job if necessary.
