Casemix

Casemix is a visual maintenance and documentation system to support casemix logicians. Casemix allows administrators to create, modify and maintain groups and properties as classifications change.

Casemix consists of the following components: the Data manager, the Editor, Interactive and Viewer

Data Manager is called CasemixManager and is used to load logic, The Swedish Health Service's Classification System (SKS) codes, properties etc., as at the end build a grouper to group activity data.

Editor is called CasemixEditor and is used to maintain and develop logic, create new rules, properties and counting codes.

Interactive is called CasemixInteractive and is used to test the outcome of combinations of diagnoses and procedures for single cases based on one's grouper.

Viewer called CasemixViewer can graphically display the logic. Here there is an opportunity to search for Major Diagnostic Category (MDC)/Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG), SKS code as well as find out which rules contain these and where they group to.

Publisher is called CasemixPublisher and is used to publish logic, grouper, Viewer and Interactive for respectively testing, consultation and the production environments.
