This CUI was designed as part of the 14 days daily conversation design challenge organized by Ryan, Hillary, & the UXWC team.

Day 8: Double Opt-in

The goal of this challenge is to prompt a car wash shop's customers to subscribe to the company's text messages.

Thought process:

When appropriate, greeting customers in the local way conveys a sense of friendliness and community. Here, the local context is Hawaii, where it's common to greet each other with an "Aloha" and a shaka 🤙🏻. After informing the customer that the messaging system may charge a fee, solicit a call to action. In the instructions, encourage the customer to subscribe by giving a list of benefits for doing so, such as members only coupons, deals, and limited offers. However, it's important to keep the first message concise.
