Mell & Co - Branding & Packaging for Pet Accessories Brand

Mell & Co. is a pet accessories brand based in the UK with a mission is to reduce the number of rescue dogs and to enrich their lives thereafter. They provide high quality handcrafted pet products and services to the dog lovers community. Derived after more than fifty iterations, the brand identity illustrates to the founders first dog - a Schnauzer in a calligraphic style to promote the brands 'handcrafted' nature. The visual language was put across by using multiple Schnauzers (to signify the many dogs they've rescued in the past and want to in the future) in a symmetric structure to form an interesting shape.

The color Royal Blue has regal associations thanks to its historical relationship with the British Royal Family. It often denotes authority, trust and confidence, thus used in our branding. Instead of keeping one business card, to make it look unique - multiple coloured versions were created.
