Cosmetics Conversation User Interface (CUI)

This CUI was designed as part of the 14 days daily conversation design challenge organized by Ryan, Hillary, & the UXWC team.

Day 3: Instructions

The goal of this challenge is to instruct a user to retrieve their transaction number on the receipt so that the system can help them credit their loyalty points.

Thought process:

Greet the customer and introduce the bot. After the customer's response, show empathy by saying "I'm sorry that you couldn't add your loyalty points." This also implicitly confirms the customer's request.

Be specific in the instructions ("the 5-digit transaction number located at the top of your receipt"). Include an example with the transaction number highlighted so that the customer can easily follow.
