Introducing Ribant Creative Office

Enter your text hereRibant Creative Office — RCO for short — is the design and technology practice of myself, Kyle Ribant. I left the in-house world in spring 2022 to reconnect with what motivates me creatively, and I’m excited to introduce you to RCO.

Ribant Creative Office is primarily a digital-first practice, although a significant source of inspiration comes from print. Using three reference pillars — considered subversion, wistful futurism, and parallel universes — RCO’s design language aims to be a successful combination of contrasting aesthetics. When merging these pillars, the result is the maximalist, self-indulgent, and camp spirit of Y2K, yet with an almost-utilitarian sense of construction and technicality.

My goal for the RCO site was to look slightly imperfect, drawing inspiration from scanned documents, but is structurally sound and near perfect under the surface. The concept of contrasting paradigms is seen in the web experience’s architecture: built on a strict 8px incremental unit, the spacing and grid systems are ever-present and provide the stable foundation through which to build the controlled chaos seen on screen.

The site is built using the Jamstack paradigm.
