Matchbook Wine Labels Illustrated by Steven Noble

Matchbook Wine Company contacted Steven Noble to utilize his illustration skills to add a new illustration to their series of wine labels that includes both Flying Feet and Wagon Train. The Wagon Train pays homage to the emigrants who came overland via the Oregon Trail. The Flying Feet label illustration was customized in a woodcut style to symbolize the traditional "age-old" wine making process that includes the art of grape stomping. This involves crushing wine grapes by stomping on them with your feet so as to release their juice and begin the wine making process.
