Challenge
The major challenge is to Design an interactive KYC(Know your Customer) Onboarding prototype for customers to open a bank account seamlessly. Also, share the thought process and methods that you applied to this design exercise.
Problem
Due to the pandemic, DC Bank needed an application to help its customers open a bank account digitally. The application should include features such as login, document verification, customer photo, identity checks and so on.
Goals
Major goal is to fulfill the usability of the end user
Creating a navigation towards various screens
Need to helps the user to have hassle free communication through the usage
Design Process
Empathize:
It all started with understanding the user and always keeping the user's needs at the front and centre. Tried to understand how the user enters into the app and how easily he can access the things around.
Define:
Understanding the user's pain points and understanding how a user tries to interact with the app and when he can access it easily with help of cues.
Ideate
Researching various applications and web apps along with the data to find who are the competitors on Bank registrations here and how they are able to retrieve the user information.
Color & Typography
Colours and Typography are chosen based on design psychology in consideration. Color Blue was chosen as the people feel it is safe to colour and trustworthy. Typography was chosen based on readability and keeping the contrast ratio in the mind.
