Genbook Excellence in Experience Awards

Genbook, a booking SaaS, created the Excellence in Experience Award, which is an annual award without judges. A comprehensive voting point system is developed to count votes from client reviews, client favorites, and client votes. 

A responsive website is developed to explain this first ever judgeless award for service providers in the middle of the pandemic, to inform and engage participants and voters. 

Results?

Over a million responses have been analyzed to crown the winners, who has all proudly displayed the winning badge online. Social media engagement doubled during the campaign for Genbook, and social media engagement has also raised significantly as the award winners celebrate with the help of their clients.

Be understood and boost engagement

Since the Excellence in Experience Award is based purely on points system and not judges, it is important to make the complicated point system easy to understand by nominees. Only less than a handful of people reached out and needed further explanation, the other tens of thousands of unique users got it straight away.

Planning the award experience

Together with the marketing team at Genbook, we planned out the content required for the award website, and laid out the pages to ensure the award is well explained, and engaging for the participants and voters.

It was important for Genbook to be able to utilise the award to grow its brand equity, while staying out of the way in the presentation of the award. We have helped them develop a new award brand identity that looks different, while still feels closely associated with the Genbook brand.

Awarding the winners online and offline

Genbook's customers rely heavily on creating awareness online and offline to build their business, so we want to help them announce every win, everywhere. Digital stickers and social media announcements are created for the nominated and the winners. Physical winner packs including a crystal trophy and a framed certificate are mailed out all over North America.
