PITAKA Seamless Pattern
Initial Design
My design started with PITAKA as a brand. Everything I created was inspired by their woven phone cases. I studied this diagonal pattern (below left) and created a geometric pattern based on that.
Color and Design
I looked at PITAKA's current designs and wanted to create something new but stay true to their current look. All of their existing designs are so subtle. I kept the patterns simple- the first is a greyscale version and the second are shades of a burnt orange.
Design Accents
Something I loved about the PITAKA designs were the occasional pops of colors as a stripe or a part of the woven pattern. On the orange version, I added a bright orange vertical woven design. This is a pop of color to add a bright accent to the design.
