Animated fiber case for PITAKA Playoff

I explored the creative possibilities of Fusion Weaving technology. It says the designs are limited. But I liked this limitation because it creates a challenge to make a still good looking result.

I started experimenting with simple patterns like Pitaka’s ones. And then I read that the author of Fusion Weaving was inspired by music. So I tried to research music patterns. I found guitar neck and played with different options to get the best result

Finally, I decided to design using the G-cleft, a musical symbol.

I purchased an iPhone with its case 3D models, and animated everything in Cinema 4D and rendered using Redshift.

Honestly, this project was beyond my abilities, especially in 3D

And I was very pleased with the result and this unique experience.
