CNC-milled foam foot created from a 3D scan of my own foot!

Original pattern lines were drawn on taped foam last.

Pattern from taped last traced onto pattern paper with appropriate seam allowances.

Vector Pattern lines from scanned pattern paper to be cut from light gray fabric using laser cutter.

Hand-carved hard foam model for my shoe sole.

The original foam sole was also 3D scanned and modeled to fit the 3D scan of my foot in Solid works.
