Profile Page | Daily UI Design Challenge 006

Daily UI Challenge | Day 006

For day six, I was tasked to design a profile page.

I chose to design a profile page for a Locum Pharmacist, and I decided to incorporate elements from a Pharmacy job board idea to guide my design.

To start, I did thorough research on existing design patterns for professional profile pages, including studying LinkedIn and competitor job boards such as Content Writing Jobs, Himalayas and the Unicorn factory. This research helped me to identify key features and layout ideas for my design.

Being familiar with the Pharmacy industry and business management, I also considered the needs of the end user, a business manager looking to hire a Locum Pharmacist. I included a "Add to List" feature, which allows managers to quickly save and refer back to potential candidates. It allows them to build their own Locum list to refer back to. Additionally, I prioritized the skills and accreditations section of the pharmacist's profile to make it easy for managers to quickly assess qualifications and ability to offer additional services to core dispensing tasks.

I also made sure to keep consistency and standards in mind, using the Inter font for a clean, professional look and feel.

Overall, I am pleased with the design and the opportunity to put usability heuristic #4 (Consistency and standards) into practice to provide a clean design with a great user experience.
