iOS Widget-based Quick Glance app - Calendar View

I'm piecing together an app idea that basically would present the user with glances of information they missed while sleeping, or away from their phone for an extended period of time. Sort of like notification center, but useful!

The idea will be that you can customize which widgets are used, and what information they display. I'm not quite at the settings portion of design, but I've been putting together screens for each of the navigation items. I'm starting off with showing the calendar / events view.

While the calendar sort of exists out of the main frame of mind of "information you missed while you were gone", I think it's an important view for people to have for quick glancing. More importantly, if you disagree, you would be able to not have a calendar tab in the navigation.

I haven't decided if the bottom row should be recently used apps, or apps the user defines (and what the possibility even is from a technical point of view.) If you have a thought, comment!
