Menemojis

I was asked to update the aging emoticons of Spanish news site http://meneame.net, that rendered poorly on retina devices and were a mishmash of shapes and colors.

Since they had the intention of incorporating emojis too, I took the original Meneame emoticons and adapted them to the same style of Twitter's emojis (Twemojis, highlighted bottom right).

You can see the original emoticons at the bottom, and the new Meneame emojis (nicknamed Menemojis) on top, plus some new ones that were chosen to be added to the repertoire by the users. (See the @2x for more detail)
