One of our objectives in this e-commerce view was to find an enticing way to showcase additional items that customers might like after they add products to the shopping cart. Including the sidebar gives those options the visibility we were looking for, with the rule line and background color difference keeping things organized and neat.
Another priority was giving prominence to the free shipping message in order to inform the user how close they are to that goal in order to drive multiple purchases.
