Open App Switcher and Control Center with 1 Directional Gesture

Using data collected from my experiment on swipe and drag gestures (Medium article – full video included), I proposed a way to open the App Switcher and Control Center on iOS using one directional gesture.

The experiment results gave me the values I needed to determine whether the gesture was a swipe or drag within 100 milliseconds based on the average distance and velocity of my participants doing swipe and drag gestures. Once the gesture is detected, it's locked in so if you're dragging and it begins to scale, you can move as fast/slow as you wish.
