Drysdale Valuation Logo Design By The Logo Smith

So this is what I have ended up with after looking at a few possible directions for Drysdale Valuation. Goes without saying I’ve wanted to avoid anything too obvious in a cheesy/cliche financial way, but not so distant as to have NO meaning or association at all.

Can't quite decide between the solid logomark, or the keyline version.

The DV initials 'triangles’ are each the perfect-half of a square, with the bottom 1/3rd space being filled with rising lines.

I ended up on this route because I had played around with the correlation of the V, when turned on it’s side, to the "less-than symbols”, but also up and down. This didn’t really work out, but I ended up working as stylised DV initials instead, which I really think look quite striking, and strong.

The 3 lines are more of a ‘filler’, but ‘could’ be seen/viewed as ‘increasing value and/or positive graph projections etc’, but not really intended.

As the 'V' of Valuation is the descriptive and relevant part of the company name, thus gets prime focus middle-top.
