Creating a logo for a gardening business

A garden designer, who caught my attention because he and his team had designed some beautiful gardens in my neighborhood, asked me to design a logo for his company. He told me he was too clumsy when it came to graphic design and gave me full creative freedom. I always enjoy doing a project like this because I can put all my creativity into it. His gardening style had oriental features and was very influenced by Feng- Shui, which led me to consider using the symbol of ying-yang. I made some sketches and came up with the idea of incorporating some leaves into the ying-yang symbol. For the font, I chose the elegant and decorative “Tangerine” and the natural colors green and brown. Of course, I also provided a completely white variant for darker backgrounds.
