Sexual Education App Design

Here's an app I created in response to a pertinent, South African issue.

The Issue:

Annually there are 20 million new STD cases, with 50% of these infections being among individuals, aged 15-24. South Africa also has 20% of all global HIV infections.

My Response:

The topics of sex & STDs are often seen as awkward & taboo, leading to a gap in sexual education & conversations on these topics. To work against this & in-turn better educate young South Africans, it is necessary to destigmatize sex & STDs using humour. Therefore I designed a sex education app that targets younger users, using interactivity and tongue-in-cheek humour to against the taboo surrounding sex. I intended for the app to be multi-functional, acting as a sex education hub for all user concerns & questions relating to sex & sexual health.
