Inspired Sketches 01 : Kawaii Pikachu

Something I drew up on my iPad with my fingers (aka no stylus). Inspired off a Pinterest post I saw.

As a child, my days used to start with running to my grandparent's room and switching the TV on just in time to catch Pokémon. By the time the title song ended, the bed my grandma had soo neatly made was nowhere to be seen, courtesy of me and my cousin jumping all through the song. We would, after that, sit quietly and watch the remainder of the episode, but the damage was already done.

Why she never shouted at us, I'll never know. Our dancing wasn't great either.

While both my grandparents are no more, their kindness and love still lives through us.

While I know this isn't perfect by any means (looks at the Pokéball), Pokémon goes all the way back, and Pikachu being easily one of my favourite Pokémons. Definitely wanna improve on shadows, lighting and even the blending of colours.

While I have been procrastinating putting up whatever I have done so far, I thought this one might be a good way of starting. I'll keep the descriptions of the next ones shorter. I promise.
