Vacqua UI Website Design
Tyroc Industries have invented an add-on product which connects to any vacuum source, enabling it to vacuum, wash and dry any hard floor surface. With no direct competition, this provides a huge untapped opportunity. The end user can purchase a product that adapts to their current vacuum and offers them a relatively inexpensive wet and dry-cleaning feature that currently does not exist. The market for this product would primarily be North America and Canada so the name and brand design had to sit comfortably in these countries.
Additude Creative developed the new name VACQUA and created its new brand and marketing collateral. The client then commissioned us to wireframe, prototype and develop a new e-commerce website design. This website enabled them to immediately begin selling product items for the Vacuum market as well as promote and generate interest in the new VACQUA product by registering on a follow-up Newsletter form.
The client came to us with the UX research side of the project developed as they had a very clear understanding of their customer motivations and behaviours with over 30 years of experience in the vacuum sector.
Our job was to accurately represent their new brand across the website while making the customer journey as smooth and straightforward as possible. This began with low-fidelity wireframe visuals to accurately work out the site architecture, needs and wants of their customers. We began to build the original wireframes from this agreed wireframe to more detailed UI layouts indicating colour, font style and imagery, again accurately flowing from the VACQUA brand we had recently created for them.
Once agreed we then began to prototype the high-fidelity layouts enabling the client to play and experiment with the navigation and buttons before handing them across to the development team for the build and launch of the site.
