LEGO dots CATRINA

Very happy to be a part of the world’s first LEGO® Brick Café

I created a bespoke artwork using thousands (yes thousands!!!) of LEGO® Dots (there about 10mm in diameter), which will be displayed in the Dublin Dots Exhibition at the café, along with works from three other brilliant Irish artists.

My artwork is called ‘Catrina’ and it was inspired by Mexico's Lady of Death who serves as a reminder for us to cherish life and embrace mortality. It was a fun, enlightening and sometimes challenging project, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

The café is being launched during World Mental Health Month, by creative agency Boys + Girls and EXP, in collaboration with LEGO®, as a space where adults can rediscover the joy of play.
