Task: ADHD Scheduling App
Introduction
Organizing daily tasks can be difficult for anyone, but for someone with ADHD, the difficulty level is increased.
Someone may find themselves juggling multiple apps/scheduling/note-taking methods to keep organized and on track. People who experience ADHD have noted the organization of these multiple tracking methods as a common issue, and many seek solutions to help them stay organized, increase their productivity and find a balance between their work life, and personal life.
The Challenge
The CDC estimates 26.4 million (8%) US Adults are symptomatic of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). As of the fall of 2020, almost 12% of college students have ADHD. ADHD is commonly associated with poor organizational skills. In 2020 a study was done to measure organization skills between people with ADHD and those without. This study concluded that individuals with ADHD displayed lower scores than individuals without a diagnosis of ADHD on all organizational skills. However this study also c supports that individuals with ADHD can efficiently develop strategies, but may have difficulties using those strategies in a continuous manner. So brings us to our challenge, to find a way to take these strategies used by individuals and make them even more accessible. We want to find a way to help individuals use these strategies in a more continuous manner.

Roles
I coordinated and lead the design. This included the information architecture, user and task flows, brand, visuals, and product.
I also conducted user interviews, which included email surveys on in-person interviews in order to define the challenge
The Process
Once the challenge was defined, I continued to talk to potential users and explore the apps that already existed. I collected users' requests and compared those to already existing features. Once I had a clear picture of the user's key pain points and the competitor gaps I was able to determine the key user need.
One place to sync and organize all tasks, and a simple way to lay out the day ahead of them.
