BITLEND - Logo Animation

Hey frens! 🤙 Past months were very productive for the whole Properly team and we worked together with Bitlend team on their new product. This project was very complex, and we're responsible for branding, product design, communication and 3D design.

Logo ideation

The aim of the whole logo was to make it as flexible as possible. Hence the three layout possibilities (which you can see in animation), the first main one showing the whole name, the second shorter one containing only the word BIT and the third one showing the number 1 symbol itself. Why 1? It's pretty simple, because the BIT itself is the most basic unit of information in computing and digital communications. The name is a portmanteau of binary digit. The BIT represents a logical state with one of two possible values. These values are most commonly represented as either "1" or "0", so that's why we used 1 instead of "i" letter.

What is Bitlend?

Bitlend is a permissionless, transparent, and non-custodial lending platform native to BitTorrent Chain. A fork of Compound Finance v2, it will be the first lending and borrowing protocol to launch on BTTC - paving the way for fast and scalable DeFi in the BTTC ecosystem. Bitlend’s entire codebase is comprised of Solidity, and will utilize Band price oracles in lieu of Chainlink.
