Food Ordering and Customizing App for a Restaurant POS System

Picky's is a local fast-food chain serving pizza, burgers, and steak. They serve standard menu items and provide options for some pizza and burger customization so people can order according to their taste.

I took responsibility for designing:

• Food ordering system for Picky's POS system

• Convenient process to customize pizza and burgers as per customers' requirements

I worked on this project as a UX researcher, UX designer, process designer, and UI designer. I physically visited the restaurant, observed the order-taking process, and talked with restaurant employees and cooks to understand how they take orders, how their POS system works, and how they make customized recipes. Based on this data, I ideated some layout ideas, made a wireframe, and designed the final UI with an interactive prototype to test the design.
