Thrive
Thrive is a financial goal tracking application that syncs with Thrive's credit card data. This helps customers manage their spending so they can save towards larger expenses without going into additional debt.
The Project: Freelance proof-of-concept for a FinTech company based out of San Francisco. This is the actual work. I changed the logo, name, and branding to share publicly.
My Role: Collaborating with a UX Researcher to pull qualitative & quantitative insights, LoFi Wireframing, Hi-Fi Wireframing, Visual Designing, Prototyping, and presenting proof of concept to Head of Design.
Business Case/Framing the Problem
One of Thrive's products is a credit card for people who may not qualify for
other cards because they have a lower FICO score. People who sign up for
Thrive's card gain access to credit that may help pay for critical expenses.
Borrowing and paying their bills in a timely way may help them build their
credit moving forward.
Thrive's users need a financial goal tracking application to sync with their credit card data to help customers manage their spending so they can save towards large expenses without going into additional debt.
Research
I collaborated with the team's UX Researcher with the goal of pulling behavioral and attitudinal research and data to ideate solutions that meet our users' needs.
Challenge & Opportunities
After working with the UX Researcher, I compiled the challenging themes and began ideating solution opportunities.
User Flow
When creating my user flow, I wanted to focus on creating the most simple and informative path for my user to know exactly what the app does and how it will serve them.
Wireframes
Once I got the go ahead from the app flow, I began mocking up low and high fidelity wireframes.
Visual Design
Through several iterations, testing, and refinement, here's the final product that was presented in front of the Head of Design as a proof of concept.
